SELSA Intelligence AG

Training platform for insurance brokers

SELSA Intelligence AG is the Austrian market leader for internet-based insurance comparisons, which are offered under the brand name “Chegg.net”. Eight out of ten insurance brokers, a total of over 1,000 cooperation partners in Austria, now rely on the company’s services.

We were able to achieve this:

  • Implementation of the company-specific learning and training platform “Chegg.net Academy” based on the existing functions in quick&proper.

  • Embedding in the Chegg.net service environment (user frontend) so that the training platform can be accessed directly by logged-in users.

  • Production of live streaming events, learning videos and e-learning modules in cooperation with a certified adult education institute.

  • Annual training plans for the further education and training of affiliated cooperation partners and the company’s own employees.

Further details on the project

Initial situation

Chegg.net provides cooperation partners with IT-supported consulting and application routes for their business processes. Their secure handling requires intensive involvement with the diverse functions and products on the Chegg.net platform. Insurance brokers are also subject to statutory liability and training obligations and must provide evidence of regular further training. The aim was to manage face-to-face seminars and online training courses in a learning and training platform.

Approach

  • A roadmap for the “Chegg.net Academy” was drawn up following clarification of the brief in the form of several workshops. In addition to the technical implementation, this also included didactic advice.

  • Learning videos were produced and moderated live streaming events with learning success checks were carried out.

  • The Selsa-AG employees responsible for training operations were trained in the use of the quick&proper platform.

  • Chegg.net cooperation partners received a personalized front end from which they can use further training offers. Acquired certificates are also made available there.

  • A support bot has been set up for participants’ technical concerns, which is also continuously maintained.

Results of the project

  • Rapid commissioning of the Chegg.net learning platform: All requirements could be implemented promptly with the existing “on-board tools” of quick&proper.
  • Smooth processing of all further training courses: Registration, participation and confirmation are managed centrally and are just “one click” away.
  • Increased efficiency in knowledge transfer: New cooperation partners or new employees at existing partners can be trained quickly at any time.
