We were able to achieve this:

  • Establishment of learning areas for various compliance topics in an e-learning platform based on Moodle™.

  • Training for the independent production of e-learning content using the authoring tools available in Moodle™.
  • Implementation of communication campaigns using the mailing tools provided by quick&proper: Welcome emails, automatic reminders, confirmation messages at the end of the course.

  • Setting up a support bot for users’ technical concerns.

Further details on the project

Initial situation

Employees of Wiener Börse AG are subject to strict requirements regarding compliance with legal regulations. Regular training is therefore essential. Legal regulations are subject to constant change, which is why training content must be adapted on an ongoing basis. Wiener Börse AG wanted to be able to react flexibly to changes, create learning content itself and adapt it quickly.

Approach

  • An MS Teams™ environment was set up for ongoing coordination.

  • The requirements of Wiener Börse-AG were collected in two workshops and subsequently implemented with the functions available in quick&proper and Moodle™.

  • Authors were trained to create e-learning content based on Power Point slides set to music. Guidelines, sample slide masters and practical templates were provided.

  • Every year, an educational plan is drawn up in which topics, dates and participation criteria are defined. The courses are rolled out to users on this basis.

  • A support bot has been set up for participants’ technical concerns, which is also continuously maintained.

Results of the project

  • Independent production of e-learning content: Wiener Börse AG creates its own e-learning content, including learning control questions. Legal changes are taken into account flexibly and quickly.

  • Annual training campaigns including accompanying e-mail communication: Employees are kept fully informed about training requirements. This also includes automatic reminders if courses have not yet been completed.

  • Documented further training: During audits by the auditor and inspections by the supervisory authority, employees’ knowledge can be verified at any time.
