Further details on the project

Initial situation

Insurance brokers who want to qualify for occupational pension sales should be specifically supported with expertise and practical know-how and certified as advisors for occupational pensions. A hybrid curriculum combining e-learning, live streaming and classroom modules should enable an even wider range of interested parties to start their “BAV journey” with Zurich at any time. Lecturers should be able to provide participants with 360-degree support, for example by being available to answer questions via the learning platform. All educational activities, as well as the certification of participants, should be processed using one and the same learning portal.

Approach

  • Set-up of the ZURICH BAV VermittlerAKADEMIE learning platform in accordance with the specifications of the head of occupational pension provision.

  • Speakers were recorded in a green-screen studio with a teleprompter. Tutorials were created in post-production, which in turn were grouped into chapters.

  • Moderated live streams, self-directed e-learning units and face-to-face events were combined into a hybrid curriculum.

  • Participants have 24/7 access to the course documents, can see their progress and are reminded of deadlines.

  • A support bot has been set up for technical issues and is maintained on an ongoing basis.

Results of the project

  • Central learning platform for hybrid continuing education: Participants and graduates have personalized access to all events, the lecturers’ documents and their certificates of attendance.

  • Content production: Interactive e-learning courses were produced using the green screen video technology provided by quick&proper.

  • Expansion of the ecosystem for occupational pension provision: New digital docking points will open up additional business opportunities and further expand the occupational pension provision market position.
